A printed cap at folie.ch costs from CHF 24.90 including the print on the front – as a classic cap or as a trucker cap from CHF 24.90. You design it in the online designer, see the price while you design and can order even a single cap. We print in our workshop in Wallisellen near Zurich and ship across Switzerland.

Classic cap or trucker cap?
The classic cap is fabric all round and goes with almost any look; the trucker cap has airy mesh at the back and a slightly higher front with more print area.

Which design suits the front of a cap?
A cap takes a landscape logo about 10 cm wide and 5.5 cm high – that’s smaller than many people think. What looks good on the back of a T-shirt quickly becomes too small and busy on a cap. Tried and tested:
- An emblem rather than a full logo with address and slogan
- No more than two lines of text, letters no smaller than about 6 mm
- Key elements in the middle: the front is curved, so the design runs into the curve at the edges.
- Strong contrasts: red on navy or black on white can be read from a distance too.
The online designer shows you the print area directly on the cap, so you can see whether everything fits.
A cap to match your shirt: one design, several products
If you’ve designed something for a T-shirt or hoodie, you can transfer it to the cap in the designer with one click and just adjust the size. For the volume discount, all textiles with the same design count together: 10 T-shirts and 10 caps make 20 items and therefore 10 % off everything; from 25 items it’s 15 %.

How to design your cap in the online designer
You can design a cap in just a few minutes in your browser, on your phone or computer, without an account.
- Open the designer for the classic cap or the trucker cap and choose the colour.
- Upload your logo as an SVG, PNG or JPG, or add text using one of the fonts.
- If the logo has a white background, remove it with one click using AI background removal.
- Drag the design into the marked print area and check in the live preview that it’s centred.
- Choose the quantity and add it to your basket – the price including volume discount is fixed straight away.
Before printing, we look at every file and get in touch if anything is too fine or too blurry.
What are printed caps used for?
A printed baseball cap is an advertising medium that is worn and seen outdoors.
- Companies with field staff: landscaping, construction, installation and delivery services – sun protection with your logo
- Clubs and fans: tournaments, sports days, amateur football tournaments
- Merch and giveaways: for bands, events or as a gift for customers

How do you clean a printed cap?
We recommend cleaning caps by hand with lukewarm water and a little mild detergent, then letting them air-dry – for example over a bowl, so they keep their shape. Don’t rub over the print with a brush. It’s best to avoid the tumble dryer and hot washes altogether.

Can I have a single cap printed?
Yes, from 1 piece and with no set-up costs. The classic cap costs from CHF 24.90 including the print on the front.
What size are the caps?
Both models are one size, so you don’t need to collect sizes when ordering for a group.
How big can the logo on the cap be?
About 10×5.5 cm on the classic cap and about 11×6 cm on the trucker cap. Landscape logos fill this area best.
Can I also print the side or back of the cap?
In the online designer you print the front of the cap. If you have a special request, call us on 044 525 97 69 and we’ll work out what’s possible.
Is there a volume discount on caps?
Yes: 10 % from 10 pieces, 15 % from 25 and 20 % from 50 pieces with the same design. T-shirts and hoodies with the same design count too.
Can I print photos or multicoloured logos on a cap?
Yes, DTF printing reproduces gradients and many colours too. Because of the small area, though, clear graphic designs usually work better than photos.
