Hoodie printing – front, back or both

The pullover hoodie offers room for a large design on the front, while the zip hoodie carries a chest logo on the front. On the back, both can be printed at the same size.

On the zip hoodie you can have the second chest side printed in the designer for a surcharge – for example the logo on the left and a name on the right.

At the front, the print area ends above the kangaroo pocket: the seam and pocket edge would break up a continuous design. That’s why you can print up to 28×22 cm on the front of the men’s hoodie and up to 24×19 cm on the women’s hoodie. This leads to a simple rule:

• Landscape designs such as lettering, logos with text or wide graphics belong on the front.
• Portrait designs such as figures, posters or long lists (for example all the names of a graduating class) work best on the back.

A back print costs an extra CHF 10.– and can be up to 30×40 cm on the men’s hoodie. Unlike a T-shirt, a hoodie has the hood lying over the upper back. So don’t place the design right at the top edge, or the upper part will disappear under the hood as soon as it hangs down at the back.

A gap of a good hand’s width below the base of the hood has proven ideal. In the designer you see the back as a separate view and can move the design with millimetre precision.

A hoodie printed on the front and back costs the hoodie price from CHF 49.90 plus CHF 10.– for the back. The volume discount applies to the full unit price including the back and is based on all items with the same design:

• 12 hoodies and 8 T-shirts with the same design = 20 items → 10 % off everything
• from 25 items → 15 %
• from 50 items → 20 %

You can freely mix sizes, colours and men’s and women’s cuts. The designer shows the exact amount as you go, before you add anything to your basket.

Hoodies are the item of clothing people love to keep wearing after the event – which makes them ideal for groups who have experienced something together.

• Graduating classes and Matura classes: school name and year on the front, all the names on the back
• Clubs and teams: warm on the sidelines, see club kit
• Companies: zip hoodie with chest logo for field staff and cold days, see workwear
• Crews and volunteers at festivals and events

Turn the hoodie inside out, do up the zip on a zip hoodie and wash at a maximum of 40 °C. The heavy fabric is tempting to tumble-dry, but the heat isn’t good for the print – better to hang it up. Iron only from the inside and never directly over the design.
