Most visits to a practice website are about practical questions: when can I reach the practice, are you taking new patients, and what do I do in an emergency? Patients who find these answers straight away are less likely to call just to ask – which also takes pressure off your practice team on the phone.

In Switzerland, medical and healthcare professions are subject to stricter advertising rules than other sectors: information must be factual and true and must not mislead. Promises of a cure, guarantees of success or sensational before-and-after images are risky, and advertising for medicines is subject to further restrictions. Depending on your profession, the code of conduct of your professional association and cantonal regulations also apply.
